Excerpt from Message

Dear Tante Aimee, Having just arrived from vacation & retreat along the Meuse River, south of Namur. I came across this postal among my “souvenirs.” It was given to me during a memorable visit with Tante Esther & Tante Albins to the tomb of St. Madeleine Sophie in Brussels. “Tomb” of course is a quite inadequate word to describe the resting place of one whose lovely God’s special providence has kept intact. What an atmosphere of never-ends surrounds this reliquary! I hope to be able to say one of my first masses before next year. Please keep me especially in your prayers during this the preparatory year for my ordination. As ever, Jim, S.W.
