Excerpt from Message

You will see by this card that I am abroad. This is the dearest, quaintest old city – All the old houses built in the French style – there is a magnificent looking Catholic Church here but we couldn’t get in – I am absolutely freezing & I have two coats on & then I am cold. Fane for warmth. ECU
