February 18th 1902 / Dear May: We have been all afternoon in this ideal spot. The monastery has a great many interesting pictures and tombs – the cloister is splendid and the view magnificent – Pious VII passed a night here on his way to captivity in France. Love to all – Agnes / Feb 19th go today to Bologna, have given up Sienna, next day go to Venice. / Love to all of you! A.K. Our happy days are drawing to a close!
