June 13, 1902 / (Give my love to Mrs. Philip & to Freulien S.) / (G’s letter dame – glad Mattie is no worse – hope Maggie is better) / {I shall send Herr Gruber a card, give it to him if you think proper) / Dear May – Isn’t this pretty nice – I find him plentiful – yesterday we passed this Platz going to Frau Doctor Aschenbach, (Constanz Weber) with whom we had five o’clock tea – the Frau Doctor is in every way charming and pretty. Day before yesterday we were again on a shopping – dress making excursion. I send sample of a blue dress-gown I am to have – 3.25 a metre to be made over blue taffeta – do you like it- My green-gray waist is to be made for 9 markes – my blue gown, with hour work insertion, applique work its. 35 markes – [In German]Agnes & O practice French a little every day in anticipation of our visit to Belgium – occasionally I must say a German sentence – I tell everybody of your accomplishment in [illegible] I think you angels to say how Mattie is – your last letters & postals negotiated it which makes me think she is ill again- It is better to tell me – No news from Mr. Neely? I do hope you are all as usual – I am perfectly well – wish love to you all – I remain – Lovingly, Agnes I will send the Bishop one of these. What do you think?
