Excerpt from Message

August 20 / Dear Mother, Today we went to Canterbury at last. The Cathedral there is indescribable, it is so magnificent. I shall certainly pray much more for the conversion of England now that I have seen it. Tomarrow [sic] we are going on a trip that will take us through some of the famous Cathedral cities such as Salisburg, Wells, Durham, Lincoln, etc. I have not had the chance to see your friends, Trudy Barry yet, as we have been traveling so much, but I hope to get in touch with her soon. Pat Crowe.
