The Yeoman of the Guard at Westminster Abbey. This is the ancient ceremony which takes place on every Maundy Thursday in Westminster Abbey. The Yeomen of the Guard, in state uniform, come thither carrying the Maundy money in leathern bags, and it is distributed in the King's name by the Lord High Almoner.
