Dear Reverend Mother – I hope you received Lordes water I sent. It takes many weeks.I had short visit with our Mother General in Rome who said of you “Elle est [illegible]. I agreed with elle est marvell… She gave me her blessing. I saw our Holy Father twice – a true saint and greatly loved. Paris is gay, crowded, expensive! And now fears war with Russia so planes & ships are crowded with Americans rushing home. I fly to London tomorrow, then Dublin, Shannon, New York soon I hope. Please pray for me – I do daily for you – love – your grateful child, Kathleen Donahoe
