Excerpt from Message

7/11/64 Knutsen Line / Dear Reverend Mother, This is a Danish Church where simplicity is in the brut design. How young this Christ seems – carved in wood. Nancy and I have had a wonderful journey with fine people all the way – so kind and good. Left our ship at Bremen to take a train then Denmark top to bottom – for a ship to Norway, a ferry – then train to Storanger – Hydrofoil to Haugesund – home of these ships and journey to Bergen by ship – then Oslo by train – saw K ship and red carpet and Janey was given a pin picture of the ship of [illegible] stubborn until the beautiful fjords of Norway and a bus trip over the mountains. Plane to Copenhagen to see the Viking Festival. Now on new ship “FISTRIO BAKKE.” Heading home via Lisbon and Panama Aug. 2. All blessings on all you wonderful people – Glady & Nancy
