Excerpt from Message

I want to tell you I was released from the Hospital this 4th of May (was 12 weeks there) and came here May 12th to visit Countess Ferchenfled for an indefinite time. Dr. Craimer was delighted. He considered a change of air an absolute necessity for me, and hoped I shall be much benefitted. It is [illegible] community life here. We are two hours from Regensburg. The Danube is near and on the opposite side are lovely hills, villages, etc. The window with the X belongs to my room and I have a second window around the corner. The sun shines in all day long. There is a summer house on the other side, where I spend much of the day. Every body is so good to me that I feel very much embarrassed. Hope you are all well – Visit me sometime. Much love, affectionately, Evelyn Philip
