Excerpt from Message

Partenkirchen – August 22nd 1902 / My Mayrum: I think this is the last letter from upi Partenkirchen, will receive. I think Walchensee is the name of the place where Mother and I will try to go next. Tomorrow morning – that is if someone tells us how to get there and puts us on a conveyance. We are so sort of helpless don’t you [illegible]. We wish your managing us so very much. We are really struggling along for ourselves. The hotels have improved over postals – so can give no address. If we arrive anyplace we will send and / Your my Mayrum – just arrived. I am & 20 is M. [illegible] by your cheerful news. I suppose you can write letters now? I hate sporting a [illegible] sunset so much love to all I am yours – wholly & entirely. Miss Tuckman
