Tacoma Narrows Bridge – Tacoma, Washington – Built at a cost of $18,000,000 this 6000 ft structure links Tacoma to the Olympic Peninsula, Hood Canal and Olympic National Park. It is the thrid longest suspension span in the world and connects metropolitan Tacoma with on the most scenic areas in the nation.

I am missing my visit with you this summer - but I do hope you are truly resting and will be ready for the Library by Sept. 1st as you desire. This is not a letter - will write soon - Mrs. Derham & her sherished only one - May spent several days at Menlo. M.
