Ferry Boat and Bay Bridge - Once the only means of crossing San Francisco Bay, the ferries now have been supplanted by the San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge, part of which may be seen in the background. They, however, still play an important part in handling Bay area traffic.

Excerpt from Message

Dear Eileen - you don't know how nice it was to find your sweet letter waiting to welcome us here in S.F. Certainly enjoyed the clippings. We love it here and are trying to see all the things Daniel suggested. Had a wonderful visit today with Frankie Rutt. We were so interested in hearing the news about little Donnie and hope the next news will be better. Love to you, Dan and the boys - Tess and Catherine
