Jeffrey Pine, Sentinel Dome. On the summit of Sentinel Dome, from which can be seen a large portion of the entire Park, stands this gnarled, wind-blown Pine, one of the most photographed trees in the world. This variety of pine is found at elevations of from 5,000 to 9,000 feet.
