The "Palms' in this canyon are supposed to have been planted by the first Padres, who have here a couple of hundred years ago - it is considered one of the World's wonders! Beside this there is a Date farm - Snow capped mountains & miles of burning desert all surrounding Palm Springs. M.M.B.
