Pueblo Indian Estufa or Kiva, New Mexico. A large circular external wall, (turret like) with closed in roof. Access being only by descending a ladder through a hole in the roof. Of the mysteries that take place here practically nothing is known for in spite of the fact that the Indians of New Mexico and Arizona are nominally Catholic they are intensely conservative regarding their ancient religious rites.
