Abstract

Many institutional repositories have been featuring student work such as dissertations, theses, and senior projects for well over a decade. Some institutions have also included student conference submissions and undergraduate research journals in their repository collections. As a predominantly undergraduate teaching university, Cal Poly Pomona had a unique opportunity to focus on undergraduate research within a newly launched repository. This presentation will discuss how the University Library worked with campus entities such as the Undergraduate Research Faculty Advisory Council, the Office of Undergraduate Research, and individual scholars programs to encourage more undergraduate student research submissions. Additionally, this presentation will share experiences featuring students with student profiles and highlighting excellent student work with digital badges.
