Description
Etched bookplate on purple paper, in black ink, made for Mary Alice Ercolini. After Godey's Lady's Book, it depicts two women in Victorian dress. One stands watching as the other holds out a piece of thread. A cat plays at the feet of the standing woman. 'Old times, old days / Old books, old ways' is written under the image of the women.
