Description
Etched bookplate on red-washed paper, in red ink, made for Sara Eugenia Blake. After Suzuki Harunobu, it depicts two women in Japanese dress, both with heads bowed. One kneeling woman reads, the other bends over to light a lamp. A river and tree are shown in the background. It is a copy of Harunobu's 'Andon-no Yushu - Evening Glow in the Paper-Covered Night-Light'.
