Plaza, Old Town, San Diego, California – The Plaza was the early day center of community life. Here were held bull fights, Indian games, law trials and crude councils. The U.S. Naval flag was raised July 29th, 1846. The boulder marks the end of the Kearney trail from Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas.
