Polson Dam, Montana – Polson, at the south end of Flathead Lake, which is 50 miles long, 20 miles wide, is a good base for boating and fishing trips. West from Flathead Lake, roads lead to Lake Ronan, where the rare silver salmon, of the gamest fish can be caught.
