Nelson's Column and Trafalgar Square, London. – 184 feet 11 inches in height, erected in 1840-43 from designs by William Railton. The colossal statue of Lord Nelson which surmouts the pedestal is 17 feet 4 1/2 inches in height and is the work of E.H. Baillie.
