(front) October 18th, 1902, Dear G, The lady of the white [illegible] is beautiful. I like her much – If you could do colored chalk work like I see in the Louvre I’d be satisfied – beautiful portraits. I like your postal really very much. (back) Page 1 Well we have gotten settled again in Passey – it is lovely at this little Pension, just American girls, for study - here for the winter – ten is the limit – the dining room is red and a grate fire – it was cosey [sp] today – there is a dear little frenchy salon and Madame and her fille are so very nice. It turned cold yesterday and yes Genevieve it gets wet here too – but not so wet quite as in Munich – Maggie got wet once too often two days ago – in result, I have her in bed to stop the cough and sniffles – this afternoon she is [illegible] – I have a cold too and am simply too tired for sightseeing so yesterday and today am lying around, too bad in Paris, but better than getting good and sick.
