Nimes. – Alphonse Daudet. C'est au milieu du bassin du square de la Couronne qu'a été placé la monument de l'illustre écrivain né à Nimes (1840-1897) dû au ciseau de Falguiere. Cette oeuvre d'art a été élevé par souscription en avril 1900.
