La Bajada Hill A portion of the great highway known as the Camino Real being built by the State of New Mexico from the Colorado line to the Southern boundary of the State. This was a part of the original Santa-Fe - Chihuahua Trail and was a great highway between the Capital of New Mexico and Chihuahua for more than two centuries.
