This Synopsis focuses on the recent developments in the field of immigration law, during 1978 to 1979. The discussion of the developments includes selected legislative enactments and regulations promulgated pursuant to said enactments, important judicial decisions, significant administrative actions taken by the Immigration and Naturalization Services and the Board of Immigration Appeals, and proposed legislation.
