Abstract

This book chapter details a collaborative action research process that was conducted by advisors for advisors at a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) after the launch of a new university-wide advising model. By focusing on the implementation of the new advising model and offering insights about the collaborative action research process, this book chapter shows how academic advisors can implement and evaluate advising practices that align with indicators of serving.
