Abstract
The purpose of my research is to explore how to better create healthy masculinity for male students on our campus. Healthier men can bring lasting and healthy relationships to the USD community. My research question is, how do I collaborate with Student Affairs and other professionals to engage with young men to create meaningful and lasting dialogue within their community? The significance of this study is that male engagement has lagged at USD and other campuses in higher education, and there is a need to find creative ways to support them. The participants that I will engage with are males on campus, undergraduates, graduate students, and the administrators. Outcomes that I intend to achieve will be a greater holistic community of inclusivity, diversity, and dialogue in which all parties are empowered to create meaningful harmony amongst all intersectional identities.
