MA Higher Education Leadership
The purpose of my research was to work with staff on ways to more effectively engage male-identified students in healthy masculinity programming at the University of San Diego. My research question was: how can I engage with student affairs staff to enhance our understanding of ways to improve programming and gender identity development? Discovered outcomes include gaining knowledge of staff's current understanding surrounding the topic, creating professional development opportunities for staff, and recommended programming for males that facilitate gender identity development. My hope is this research can be utilized by staff to grow their understanding of male engagement.
