Description
An engraved pictorial bookplate on sepia tinted paper with black ink. There are books and one open book with an image of a skull on the right page and words with the headline "Medicine" on the left page. There are two swords crossing making an X with a griffin above it and calligraphic leaves surrounding the top and bottom. The banner is in latin "Forte Et Fidele" which translates to "strong and faithful". The bookplate says "Ex Libris Richard B. Coutant", ex libris is used to identify the owner of the bookplate.
