Description

A pictorial bookplate on off white paper with black ink of the State Library, Hartford's book form. The top has the crest with the state's name written in Latin. The crest has three images of a grape vine on a stem and a banner in Latin "qui transtulit sustinet" translates to "Who supports the transfer". Above the seal are two years "1720" and "1878". Beneath the seal are two rolls of paper. The one on the left says "Constitution 1639" and the one on the right says "Charter 1662". Behind the seal is a picture of the building with a tree in the front. The form information is "Class. Book. Date. Accession NO. Source"
