Description

A pictorial bookplate light sepia tinted paper with black ink for a Memorial from Ohio Alcove Manila. There is a bookshelf aisle that leads to an image of a building on a shore with boats out on the water. At the end of the aisle are columns that say "In God we trust...to our fallen heroes". Above the aisle are three crests. The one on the left is from the Daughters of the American Revolution, the middle crest is an eagle with his wings spread and stars above him, the right crest is a picture of a shore with three wheat bundles on shore. Above the crests is the Holy Bible opened with stars circling it and the year 1803. Above the Bible are wings, a chain, and the years 1898 and 1903. On the bottom of the bookplate in the middle is a blank section to fill out "NO. Case. Shelf" information. The border for the bookplate is a black background with leaves, flowers, and dots.
