Description

A pictorial bookplate on white paper with black ink for Elizabeth Watson Diamond. "Ex-Libris" is used to show who the book owner is. There is a naked woman on her knees drinking water out of her hand from a small hole that is surrounded by leaves and flowers. Behind the woman is another person fully dressed holding a bag on one shoulder and holding her other hand out to the woman on the ground. There is also a horse with standing next to the clothed person. Under the illustration is a quote "One moment of the well of life to taste." On the bottom left corner of the bookplate is a small drawing of a horse head. On the bottom right corner of the bookplate are three camels walking in the desert away from the sun with a quote "Starts for the dawn of nothing."
