A pictorial bookplate on light sepia tinted paper with dark green ink for the library of Howard E. Eavenson. The illustration is a bird's eye view of hills full of trees. In the valley of the hills there are trails and there are about a dozen houses in one area. Next to the name on the right is the Swarthmore College seal and on the left is an image of two hammers forming an X.
