Description

An armorial bookplate on light sepia tinted paper with black ink for Frederick Arthur Poole. There is an illustration of the Poole family crest with a few adjustments. The crest has a design of eight fleur de lis in a circle. On top of the crest is a knight's helmet with a crown and a lion's head with wings. The wings on the lion's head has one fleur de lis and two black lines on each wing. Below the crest is a banner that says "Pollet Virtus" that can be translated as "possesses virtue."
