John A. Penton
A pictorial bookplate on sepia tinted paper with black ink belonging to John A. Penton. "Ex-Libris" is used to show who the book owner is. There is an open book with "Rowfantia" written across both pages. The bottom of the R turns into a banner that says "Ex-Libris" and connects back to the last A of the word. On both the right and left side of the book is a rat holding a candle. The candle smoke leads up and connects to the candle smoke from the other side.
