Abstract
This Article examines the controversy surrounding industry's use of truth verification techniques. The author reviews the theories surrounding the use of these techniques and discusses the competing interests of an employee's right to privacy and management's right to be secure from employee deception. The author concludes by calling for regulation of truth verification techniques in the employment relationship.
