Excerpt from Message

Palm Sunday 1954 / This is Sacre Couer of Bregenz. The building belonged 60 years ago to the Baron Põllnitz [illegible] and a former adjutant of Louis I of Bavaria he fell in love to his later wife. When she had an audience and her father with the king they came on their wedding tour from Bregenz and saw the castle and stayed for good. It is 10 minutes from my home. 3 nieces of mine were there for school but that was 20 years ago. [illegible] seldom there for church. But the girls come often to our shop and the parents too. How is Rev. Mother Genevieve now? I hope the improved [illegible]. I pass St. [illegible] Chapel. I remember to her your eyes. I hope they're better, [illegible] the climate with you is not good for [illegible] eyes.
