Copley Library’s Special Collections holds a collection of over 6,000 postcards documenting local, national, and international places that were of interest to twentieth century travelers. At the heart of this collection are the personal postcards collected by May and Genevieve Clarke who were librarians at the College for Women. The collection also includes several smaller postcard collections donated over the years to the college library, many with handwritten notes.
