Ruins of Montezumas Temple, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak Region, Colorado – Ruins of Montezumas Temple, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak Region. Near Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. This group of rocks resembles the ruins of the Temple of the Montezumas, ancient rulers of Mexico. These are the remains of layers of rock, 200 feet high, turned on edge and then worn away by wind and water.
