Interior, Memorial Church, Stanford University, Palo Alto, California – Memorial Church, Stanford University, built as a memorial by Mrs. Stanford to her husband, Leland Stanford, is one of the most beautiful churches in America. The extensive use of art mosaics for mural decorations, beautiful stained glass windows and works of art throughout make it a structure more than unique in character, worthy of visiting and well remembered. Only non-sectarian services are held. Dedicated in January, 1903.
