St. Josaphat Basilica and School from Kosciuszko Park, Milwaukee, Wis. Architecture Roman style, resembling St. Peter's in Rome. Cornerstone laid July 4th 1897. Consecrated Nov. 18,1928, created Basilica by Pope Pius XI, March 10, 1929. 216 feet long and 116 feet wide, seating 1,840. Altars and pulpits are of marble.
