Excerpt from Message

Bombay July 23, 1963 Dear Mother, We saw the Taj Ma-hal a few days ago and it was worth the whole trip just to see such a beautiful thing. We missed the moon- light view as there was no moon. India is the most fascinating country we have been too. I could stay longer, though it is very hot. The poverty! Disease + living conditions are un-believable. The people who live in New Delhi are better off than the others, I believe Bamaras and the ghats was fascin-ating.
