Excerpt from Message

We left the President Grant at six this morning. Mar. 3rd entering the beautiful harbor of Cherbourg at break of day – We have had absolutely no inconvenience, having met with the greatest kindness from friends of the Society who met us in Paris and saw to all the luggage, etc. We were too late in Paris for Mass but had a visit with our Lord at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul. We are all so well. You may expect a letter after Easter. Ixelles. Bruxelles. Mar. 4th This will let you know that we have arrived safe and well at the Mother house. We have today to get acquainted and find our way about. Everyone is so kind to us. Remember me to all my good friends. I hope you are both better – Love and best wishes to you.
