Big Ben, Westminster, London. – The Clock Tower is 316 feet high and 40 feet square. The Clock has four dials each 22 1/2 feet in diameter, the minute hands 14 feet long, the hour hand stands 9 feet. The hours are struck on the famous bell "Big Ben" which weighs 13 1/2 tons and whose resonant note is broadcast throughout the World.
