St. Paul's Cathedral. This Masterpiece of Sir Christopher Wren is the largest and most famous church in the City of London. It was built in the years 1675-1710 and is 365 ft. high to the top of the cross. Here are the tombs of Nelson and Wellington and memorials to many famous men.

Excerpt from Message

Dear Mother, Already I have decided that England is much more attractive than the USA. Everything here is green, which is quite a contrast to good old California. I’ve seen most of London, except the famous cathedrals, which I haven’t seen any of. (bad grammer?) When my Aunt is taking us around through the country and villages in Kent we see lots of old 11th & 12th century churches, but I never get to stop and see them. P.F.C.
