This interior view from the sanctuary of the Old Church shows the balcony which is held up by beautiful carved beams dating back to 1710. The large beam bears the inscription: "El Senor Marquis de la Penuela did this work, the Royal Ensign Don Agustin Flores Vergara his servant, in the year 1710."
