The scene constantly changes. While one looks the colors turn from one shade to another and then change color. It is hardly imaginable that the opposite Canyon wall is 13 miles away. The mind is unused to grasping such tremendous things. At first it is not impressed by this, yet slowly but surely incredulity is changed to possiblity, and doubt is changed to belief.
