Excerpt from Message

Feast of the Visitation, 1944 My Dear Mrs. Henderson, It was ever so kind of you to contribute to the Sacred Heart Relief Fund and Reverend Mother Hill want you to know how grateful she is to you for it. Many of our Houses in Europe have been completely ruined, others so shattered that they are quite uninhabitable whereas several untouched by bombs, have been taken over by the enemy. Pray for our nuns over there, they have endured much. Ever cordially yours in CL, Marie Horton-Weir RSCJ
