Description

Etched bookplate on textured, purple paper, in black ink, made for Mary Alice Ercolini. The paper features streaks of white, green, dark purple, and tan. It depicts a man and woman in Japanese dress. Both seated, the man leans over the woman's shoulder, and holds with one hand the flute she is playing. There is a tree branch in blossom to the left of the figures. On the back is written 'Japanese music lesson, made for Jack Diamond.'
