Description
Etched bookplate on textured, sepia tint paper, in brown ink and partially colored, made for Mary Alice Ercolini. It depicts three women in Japanese dress. Two are kneeling at a table and another enters the room. There is a cat curled up on the table, and outside a blossoming tree. In the bottom left corner, below the scene, is a small, potted plant, perhaps bamboo. On the back is written 'Japanese tea ceremony'.
